SYROS ISLAND IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTH AEGEAN SEA, IN THE CENTRE OF THE CYCLADES ARCHIPELAGO.

 

IT IS COMPRISED OF 84 SQUARE KM AND LIES 80NM FROM PIRAEUS PORT, THE MAIN PORT OF THE CAPITAL CITY OF GREECE (ATHENS).

HERMOUPOLIS IS THE CAPITAL CITY OF THE ISLAND AND OF THE SOUTH AEGEAN REGION. ALL MAIN PUBLIC AUTHORITIES OF THE REGION RESIDE IN HERMOUPOLIS

HERMOUPOLIS HAS A MODERN FULLY EQUIPPED HOSPITAL CAPABLE OF TREATING MOST INJURY OR ILLNESS CASES (NO HYPERBARIC CHAMBER, THOUGH).
